Toraja is a valuable coffee producing area located in the south of Sulawesi. The highland of Toraja has a mountain range standing at higher than 1,400 meters above sea level. The land keeps volcanic ground (soil) that results in a distinct taste and aroma. Much to the favours of the local farmers who restlessly attend to the cultivation of coffee, Toraja is an expert post-harvest raw coffee processor.
With Toraja commonly acknowledged by its ability to being a smooth, nutty, and chocolate-ish sensory experience. Tanamera coffee was awarded a bronze medal for this coffee at MICE/RASV 2016.
Since opening our doors in 2013, Tanamera Coffee has been at the forefront of the third wave coffee movement that has taken Indonesia by storm and since then we have shared hundreds of beautiful coffees with thousands of passionate customers.
